Well, DUH.  Who wouldn't?  

Everything Duchess Kate touches turns to gold, or rather, it majorly SELLS OUT so you can bet the cover of HRH Duchess Kate on fashion bible, American Vogue will fly off the shelves!

According to the New York Post's Page Six, sources said:

"Every magazine has been trying to get Kate, and many assume it will eventually be Vogue. But even with the Mario Testino relationship, it is not clear when this will happen. The Palace must approve it, and they are very protective of Kate."

Chances are if and only IF the Palace approves a fashion cover, I'll bet my Sunday morning lie-in that it will be British Vogue over American Vogue.  The Palace ain't stupid.  Their job is to fan the flames of loyalty to the Commonwealth first and foremost.  I don't see Kate jumping the pond anytime soon for an American fashion cover - Anna Wintour or not.
