The Gossip Girl stars, Blake Lively and Penn Badgely, have ended their three year relationship. Supposedly they split back in mid-October but their rep recently shared the news exclusively with Us Weekly.

"They’re professionals," an insider tells Us Weekly. "They're still good friends and hang out on the set." The source continues that they "kept this news to themselves for a while."

They've always been incredibly private about their relationship which makes it no surprise that the press didn't pick up on the split much earlier.  

These two are no Ashton and Demi where we must endure every last tweet, TwitPic, post, email and smoke signal that they send to each other announcing how much they can't keep their hands off each other.  Enough already, please!  

Now that she's single maybe she can date John Mayer since everybody else is.
