It's Paris Fashion Week and THE MUST SEE show is CHANEL! Of course. 

It's also a bad week for Blake Lively.  She got kicked to the curb by Leonardo DiCaprio and now she's been replaced by Florence Welch, singer of Florence + the Machine as Karl Lagerfeld's new muse at the House of Chanel.  The gorgeous redhead closed the Chanel runway show singing from a giant seashell backdrop...and it's STUNNING!  

Overall, the collection is really LIGHT — lots of whites, I wished there was a tad bit more color, but that's just me.  There's fluffy fabrics and exquisite details. The theme is an underwater fantasy world -- imagine coral, sea anemone, seaweed and tentacles...it's beautiful. 

So what can we expect to trend this upcoming season?  

Nothing is more synonymous with classic Chanel than a strand of pearls so simply, it's all about the PEARLS. I'm talking pearl detail galore — pearl buttons, pearl necklaces, pearl iridescent fabrication, it's an explosion of pearls!

Another trend is flat shoes or low heels.  Is this Kaiser Karl's decree that the sky high platform shoe is over? Chanel sent out flat boots in a mondorama style (a bit space age). Love!
