Coldplay and Glee??!! Yes, please! Although Coldplay originally declined Glee producers the rights to use their songs on the hugely popular show, Chris Martin and crew have recently changed their minds according to the Hollywood Reporter.  The band must have come to their senses after seeing the afterglow of huge profits that a Glee show can provide and have allowed usage of their catalog.  The Glee/Madonna themed EP went No. 1, while Journey's 29 yr-old song, Don't Stop Believing reached No. 4 after its Glee episode.

Since Coldplay have said yes, it seems 80's rocker, Bryan Adams is the only artist left who has rejected the show.  Seriously Bryan, who's your manager and agent?  What else have you got lined up?  Sounds like a bad business to me, but I personally don't want to watch a Bryan Adam's show anyway.  I ditched my Aquanet 25 years ago and have no plans to contribute further to global warming.

For their part, Coldplay would neither confirm nor deny the story on England's Radio One. But that's ok because Glee producer/creator, Ryan Murphy has confirmed that Coldplay have given their blessing.  There is no word if a show will be entirely dedicated to Coldplay music like the Madonna episode, but we are holding our breath and beyond excited to see what kind of magic fairy dust Murphy can sprinkle on Coldplay's melodic rock anthems!
