A judge decided that it would be a good idea to name Jason Trawick, Britney Spears' fiance co-conservator of essentially her life, reports People.

"Conservators typically have legal authority over a person's general well-being, which includes decisions about food, clothing and medical care.

A source close to the singer previously told PEOPLE that Britney enjoys plenty of personal freedom and that the conservatorship is mostly in name only.

Trawick will not have any legal control over Britney’s multimillion-dollar fortune, which is overseen by her father and another attorney.

Dad Jamie Spears has held legal control over his daughter and her finances since Feb. 2008 after the singer suffered a psychological breakdown.

The conservatorship will be lifted only after a judge is convinced, on the advice of the singer’s doctors, that she’s healthy enough to manage her own affairs."

I'm mixed about this.  The Beehive has been an avid supporter of daddy Spears from the beginning because he pretty much brought Britney back from the lowest depths of crazy. Since Jamie Spears became conservator, Brit's never looked happier, healthier or been more successful.  Whatever he's doing, he needs to keep it up.

Evidently, the co-conservatorship was Britney's request and Jamie whole-heartedly supports it.  I actually don't mind Trawick.  I think that out of all the hitchhikers she's been linked with, he's proven himself to be worthy and has been that stable someone for Brit and her boys.  I'm no lawyer, but I can't see how giving Jason legal co-control over her life can be a good thing.  There's speculation that this was a move to speed up the process so that the couple can be married.  Well, at least her fortune is still controlled by Jamie and her attorney, but I do worry about what would happen in the event Jamie passes?  Lord, now I'm fraught with nerves.  I don't think I can watch Britney board the crazy train again.  I like seeing happy Britney.
