Like we didn't see this coming.  

"Katie's primary concern remains, as it always has been, her daughter's best interest. This is a personal and private matter for Katie and her family," says Holmes' attorney Jonathan Wolfe in a statement to Us magazine.

They lasted five years.  

The question brewing now is whether or not this was a mutual decision or did Tom get blindsided?  My guess is she signed a five year contract to act as his beard and her time was up. Now she can skip off into the sunset with a bag of cash and one adorable daughter.  Hurray for her.
