Lady Gaga Releases "Born This Way" Album Cover and Frightens Children

Is it just me or is this the freakiest album cover ever?! Is it supposed to suggest that Gaga has become a machine in her quick rise to stardom? Or did she just want to frighten young children? I may have nightmares tonight. I mean seriously. What the freak is that????

Gaga's second single from the album, "Judas", was released early because of an internet leak and of course, we've all heard "Born This Way" and seen the video about one million times. Not that I'm complaining.......

The Born This Way album hits stores May 23.

Maybe, just maybe THIS is the whole point of the gad awful album cover? To get people talking and wondering WTF she is doing and why she would do something so misrepresentational.
I think it’s shockingly tacky and cheap, which is maybe the idea. It’s working.
Wouldn’t entice me to buy it, although I’m sure her fans will buy anything. Maybe that’s another point she’s attempting to make? That it doesn’t matter what’s on the outside, it’s the inside that counts. Though from all accounts she hasn’t quite nailed that either.

I looooooooove me some lady gaga, but I am not a fan of this cover...its kinda too much for me, and by kinda I mean a lot! I don't know, i'm hoping the rest of the album is more Bad Romance/Just Dancey -as oppose to Judas and Born this way, but we shall see.
