This is the third trailer for the big budget, sci-fi action flick Battleship starring Liam Neeson, John Carter's Taylor Kitsch, Alexander Skarsgard and Rihanna. I hate to say it since I was one of the naysayers when this project was first announced but after having seen this trailer, I think I'll be checking it out. I know, I know, it's Transformers meets Pearl Harbor...and, your point is??? What can I say? I'm a sucker for robots and battles and really loud things that blow up so I'll be there. Along with my big ass tub of popcorn and nacho cheese for dipping. And a monster size cup of Sprite -- because every human should drink 64 ounces of high fructose corn syrup in one sitting. Oh and my brain will check itself at the door.

Battleship opens in theaters May 18.
