Whereas the past couple of weeks have seemed a dry dead desert of entertainment choices, starting this week (and straight through the holidays, really) the choices are becoming more fruitful. Let’s take a gander.

RadarOnline is reporting that Lindsay Lohan is scheduled to host Saturday Night Live on December 4.  This will be the third time Lindsay has hosted the show.  

Now I know they always poke a little fun at the celebrities who are hosting and play off some of their recent scandals but which scandal to pick?  Lindsay in jail?  Lindsay in rehab? The hit-and-run? The drug use?  The girlfriend?  Her crazy dad? Her crazy mother? Well at least they'll have a lot to work with.

This week the designers were challenged to create a signature American sportswear look inspired by Jackie Kennedy. She was a style icon who epitomized classic American style. Everything about Jackie Kennedy's style is timeless and effortless. Love her!

Now you know how PR loves to throw a curveball into the mix every chance possible so Tim Gunn (magic) tells them they have to make one additional item and it has to be outerwear. Oh shit! You'd think that with a muse such as Jackie Kennedy, the designers would turn out some amazing stuff, right? Uh, no. Everyone seems to be having a hard time with this challenge, especially Valerie and Mike D and the editing sure is showing a lot of them which doesn't bode well...when designers get that much screen time, one of them is going home.

Finally! All the rumors, ridiculous press releases, guessing games and teasing comments will stop filling up the blogosphere and we will have our answer.   

Fox is planning to announce the new panel of American Idol Season 10 judges on Wednesday!  

So finally Casey Affleck has removed all doubt: Joaquin Phoenix's bizarre behavior recently has all been an act and the new film "I'm Still Here" is  practically all fake - the hookers, the drugs, the rap career.  Fake fake fake.  He admits one scene of Joaquin and his siblings performing as young kids is real.  The rest?  Fake.

This even includes that crazy appearance on David Letterman back in February 2009 when he seemed to have completely lost his mind prompting Letterman to say, "Joaquin, I'm sorry you couldn't be here tonight."  

Just when I thought I've seen it all in terms of reality shows, something comes along that is so foul and shockingly bad it that makes me plan for the arrival of the 'Four Horsemen' because seriously, WE ARE GOING DOWN, PEOPLE!!! There is no doubt in my mind. What am I going on about you ask? One word -- BRIDALPLASTY. 

The quick pitch is it's "The Swan" meets "Bridezillas." In a new competition reality show on E!, brides-to-be compete with one another in bridal themed contests for a chance to win their plastic surgery procedure of choice and the chance to be the "perfect bride," says The Hollywood Reporter. Yes, you read right. Each week, a winner gets a surgery from her wish list and the loser gets eliminated. The last one standing will receive her dream wedding and after all of her surgeries, she literally gets unveiled for the first time at the altar!!!  

So who's planning on watching NBC's new conspiracy thriller "The Event"???   And no, we are not owned by NBC. I swear.

At first I was a bit wary of the hype.  Every network  is obviously grasping at straws to replace the mega hits and my two favorite shows, "24" and "Lost" (Oh Jacks, how I miss you both!) and finding anything to outdo them is going to be incredibly difficult if not impossible.  

What happened to Denise Richards's face?  Seems she hasn't quite recovered from her run-in with foul beast Naomi Campbell!

Big news tonight?  Kayla is a lesbian, Ann (the really really tall girl) likes warlocks and is ironically afraid of heights, Kacey seriously needs to buy some contacts, and Anamaria needs to eat a very large burger as soon as humanly possible.

I'm sorry but who comes up with these challenges?  Walking on a runway suspended over Hollywood and Highland while wearing a harness?  I want to see Tyra pull that off!
