Work it, girls! The Queen and the Duchess of Cambridge officially launched the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebration tour with a ride on the morning train. The Royal ladies were joined by Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh at the St. Pancreas International station where they boarded the commuter train to Nottingham.
Kate wore 1940s inspired teal dress suit by L.K. Bennett and James Lock pillbox hat. The Queen wore a bright pink cashmere coat dress with a matching hat.

I love photo ops of the Queen and Kate, especially without Camilla. You can just tell they get along. I think Kate is definitely an asset to the Royals. I probably wouldn't be half as interested in this lot if it weren't for Wills and Kate. For being a former 'commoner' and all, I think Kate is handling royal engagements smashingly. It speaks volumes of Kate's popularity and her place within the royal inner circle that she is the person -- the granddaughter IN LAW -- invited to accompany The Queen on the official kick off event for her Diamond Jubiliee.
Ladies -- "Work! Sashay! Shante!"
